What is copper-nickel?
Copper-nickel alloys contain 10% or 30% nickel with small iron and manganese additions. They resist seawater corrosion and biofouling, which keeps cooling and firewater lines clean. 70/30 has higher strength and resists faster flow and erosion; 90/10 is the more economical general choice.
