What are nickel alloys?
Nickel alloys are nickel-based materials alloyed with chromium, molybdenum, copper or iron. Chromium resists oxidising conditions, molybdenum resists reducing acids and pitting, and copper (as in Monel) gives resistance to seawater and hydrofluoric acid.
They keep their strength at high temperature and resist chloride stress-corrosion cracking, which makes them standard in chemical, refinery, power and marine equipment.

What is the difference between Inconel 625 and Hastelloy C-276?
Both are Ni-Cr-Mo alloys. Inconel 625 adds niobium for strength and is widely used for seawater and high temperature; Hastelloy C-276 has more molybdenum and tungsten for stronger reducing acids and mixed chemical service.
